We are so excited to be releasing all things new! 

The Name
Since Christie coming on board to shoot and work with me, it became clear that this wasn’t about me, it was way more about our clients and the relationships we develop with them.  Christie and I love working together, which isn’t always the case for a married couple, and I may be biased, but I think we are an excellent team.

We decided on “ByTheGilmores” because we wanted a “family/friend” feel to it, like I said before we are
relational, so if you ever become a client, expect some friends out of
the experience too!  We also wanted a little flexibility, whether it’s photography that we’re doing or other stuff, who knows! 

The Look
Of course with a new name, comes a new look.  We have to give major love to our new buddy Robert Nienhuis of Nien Studios. 
The dude is a creative stud and has been such a joy to work with. 
Christie and I are more of earthy tones kind of people, but there is
some more significant reasoning behind the direction we went with that
tells a little more about us.  So, if you want to hear more…check out
the About section!

The Bloggy
Welcome to the new bloggy of ByTheGilmores.  Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our old, yet faithful bloggy. 
In the past with our old bloggy we referred to a reader as a
“mcBloggie,” which stood for “micah/christie Bloggie”(kind of like a
“groupie”).  Although we have a new blog, we’d like to carry on the
tradition and still consider you our mcBloggies!  So if you visit here
often and see us in person, let us know you’re a mcBloggie and we’ll
give you a shout out!  There were a lot of fond memories and friends
connected to our old bloggy and our hope is that the memories would
live on and our friends would come join us here at our new home!

We want to give a shout out to IntoTheDarkRooom for supplying us with this sweet new bloggy, they are awesome, great to work with, and faster than your EasyBake oven!
