We’ve received a lot of requests to see more of Landon and an update on how he’s doing.
He’s doing great! He’s up to 4lbs 4oz now, almost 1 lb heavier than his birth weight, he is off iv’s and now solely being fed through an NG tube(goes through his nose down to the belly), and they are looking to ween him to an open crib.
He’s quite the chill baby. Not a lot of crying, just a lot of grunting (he’s got gas). He cracks some smiles every now and then that are off the charts on the cuteness scale.
I know a lot of people have been wondering what he was for halloween. Well…here’s the answer. He was a Landon burrito(and he’s serious about it, homey).
As mentioned previously they suggest we do skin to skin time or what’s also known as “kangaroo care” with Landon. It get’s him used to the feeling and warmth of the body. Last time we did it we put him in his sweet boxing hoodie.
The most common question being asked is, “when do you get to take him home??” Well for the most part you’re usually told whenever your due date is, plan for then. For us, that’s December 19th. We’re hoping by Thanksgiving, but we’ll see how this little guy progresses!
That’s all for now! Talk to ya soon.
