Hi Mcbloggies!

April has been full of shoots for us, and while Landon is getting into more of a rhythm, so is mom (me). That just means…hopefully more blogging!

A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of capturing Larry & Dawn’s pregnancy season. They booked us over email, so we met them for the first time down near their home in Orange County, & immediately felt comfortable! Larry recently purchased a new camera & has been practicing as they wait for their baby to arrive, so he was excited every time we changed our lenses. Dawn brought some items from the baby room, and I commented on how much I loved the pink & brown combo – which we used for our wedding colors…the same as Larry & Dawn!

Dawn’s baby bump is so perfect & cute, I really think it actually made me miss being pregnant (minus the whole hospital thing). After having some excellent Thai food for dinner that night, I told Micah that Dawn looks the way that every pregnant woman hopes to look when they’re expecting. And you can tell just how excited Larry is too – the whole time his face was just beaming!  Here are some of our favorites~

 

Dawn & Larry wanted some pictures by this stream, which we had to walk down a semi steep hill (& back up again). Somehow Dawn was leading the pack both times – she put the other 3 of us to shame!

We ended the day with some pictures of Larry & Dawn with their dog, who will soon be a big sister to Ava!
