Hey McBloggies!
Today we have one of a few engagement sessions from Disneyland – Micah & I (Landon too now!) just LOVE Disneyland. LOVE. So it’s no surprise that we have a lot of clients who also love the place – and by love, I mean APs. Go just to walk around. Know ALL the places to eat. Can direct the fireworks show. Know the names of workers. Times of parades. Got engaged there. etc, you get the picture.
This particular couple LOVES Disneyland – as in, when I asked Carrie if there were any spots that she knew she had to have a picture in, I think she emailed me back and described every spot in the entire park, DCA included! =) We actually started out in a spot we’ve always hoped to shoot in, & as our luck would have it we found an entire floor of the Disneyland parking structure empty that day. So we had some fun, & also got the shot Micah’s been eyeing forever!
Then on to the park –
And some fun on the teacups! Micah volunteered to shoot the teacups from the outside, which I knew was code for “I can’t handle the spinning” =P
Made some new friends in New Orleans Square… (I love the guy in the back playing the fake instrument!)
A fun one, because this is something Micah does that I usually have to explain. Or for people like Carrie or Melody it just makes them laugh.
Danced back down Main Street – Mike, I think Carrie had something different in mind than this:
And Mike, I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist. This shoot had so many GEMS that I had to do a special segment for them. Carrie definitely has her fun too, but in nearly every shot she’s just as cute as can be, like a Disney princess. Most shots Mike looked awesome too. And then…there were some…like these…
But do not worry McBloggies, Mike’s feelings will not be hurt by me posting these. Mike grew up with my younger brother, so he knows that when a Yamada pokes fun at you, it just means they actually like you. So Mike, I like you too much to not post those. =P
We ended our shoot in the area where Mike actually proposed to Carrie, along with some musical help. I love these ones!
Mike + Carrie, we had so much fun with you two and totally enjoyed Tacos Tijuana too. Thanks for loving Disneyland as much as we do! Carrie, thanks for being a trooper even with your big test the next day! Mike, thanks for being both intense and fun – you both really did look great! We’re so looking forward to spending the day with you again in July. Love, the Gilmore’s
